Kiara enjoys reading, visiting lakes and beaches, traveling and spending time with her husband and children.
Kiara is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Tyler and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Prior to joining SAFP, Kiara worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a family medicine outpatient clinic treating patients across the lifespan and in a Nursing home facility where she provided Post-Acute and Long-Term care services. Kiara had over 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse prior to earning her Master’s degree in Nursing, where she gained experience in Cardiac Med-surg, Post-partum, Post-Surgical and Pediatrics.
